A New House
After a troubled few years and moving away, we have been living in temporary accomodation. Today we bought a removal house. It should be on our property in mid November. Lots of work ahead but exciting to finally have a new home to live in.
I can see lots of work and lots of potential.
I love the wood floors. It is a small house. 3 bedrooms. One will become my craft/sewing room. With just the two of us living here permanently - the last few years has seen us become empty nesters!
I am looking forward to the journey ahead and creating our new home together.
My other work lately has involved completing the final borders of the Insanity Quilt.A quilt started 12 years ago as a holiday project. My first English Paper Piecing Project. I had no idea what I was doing, but 12 years on, I have enjoyed my journey. Looking forward to completing it.This quilt was given to the long arm quilter to work her magic on.
A pretty quilt in 1930s fabrics. The pattern is Prairie Star by Missouri Star Quilt Co.
